The Bethlehem Church in Rotenhagen is the church of the old Lutheran community in the district of Rotenhagen in the East Westphalian town of Werther (Westphalia) in the Gütersloh district .
history
The Bethlehem Church was built after the formation of an old Lutheran congregation as a small hall building in the arched style with a western tower and a semicircular apse in the east. The tower received new Romanesque window openings.
The first service was celebrated in the church in 1889 according to the old Lutheran rite.
Today the congregation belongs to the Johannes congregation in Schwenningdorf in the church district Lower Saxony-Süd of the independent Evangelical Lutheran Church .
