Bettina Dausien

Bettina Dausien (* 1957 in Halle (Saale) , GDR ) is professor for pedagogy of life at the University of Vienna .

Academic career

Dausien his doctorate in 1995 at the University of Bremen and from 1996 to 2003 research assistant at the University of Bielefeld , where she in 2003 in the field of educational science habilitated . From 2003 to 2005 she was a private lecturer and research assistant at Bielefeld University, from 2005 to 2007 professor at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, and from 2007 to 2009 professor at the University of Flensburg .

Since 2009 she has been Professor of Pedagogy of Life at the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Science at the University of Vienna. Her focus areas include education in the curriculum vitae, "lifelong learning", social and educational gender studies, biography research and educational professionalization. She is the author and co-author of numerous publications and training projects.
