Bettina Machaczek

Bettina Machaczek (born May 4, 1962 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life and education

Machaczek graduated from high school and studied economics at the University of Hamburg . During her studies she was deputy and chairman of a European student association. She is employed by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in the field of international relations .

She is married to the former Hamburg Senator for Culture Reinhard Stuth (also CDU) and has one child. She is also a volunteer member of the church council and the school of the Catholic parish of St. Antonius. She is a consultant in the Department of Economics and Labor.

Between 1987 and 1997 she was a member of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly . She is also deputy district chairwoman in Hamburg-Nord and chairwoman of the CDU in Groß Borstel .

She was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1997 to 2001 and from 2004 to 2011. Her portfolio was immigration and integration . As a specialist spokesperson, she explained the topics of migration , refugees and foreigners . She served on the Social Committee, Sports Committee and Economic Committee.
