Bettina Oehmen

Bettina Oehmen (née Güllekes) (born November 19, 1959 in Dortmund ) is a musician and author . She studied classical guitar and singing at the Dortmund University of Music .

Life

In 1982 she went to Jerusalem for three years to continue her studies. Since 1985 she has lived in Bocholt with her husband, the cellist Christoph Oehmen, and their four children , writes books, composes songs and regularly gives concert readings. Popular are z. B. the Israeli programs in which Oehmen combines current and traditional Israeli songs with vivid narrations from her book Shalom Chaverim ; or the readings from your children's books combined with sing-along songs written especially for these books and much more. The Solé book series was born out of the desire to bring other people into their creative potential. Recent projects: audio books , the crime nights in the Alte Spinnerei Herding in Bocholt, for which the author rewrites her crime novels as scripts.
