The residential and commercial building was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It was entered under No. B 140 on November 17, 1997 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
It is a three-storey corner building under a saddle- hip roof that is barely noticeable from the street view . Formal design of the two street fronts is the same, but varies in detail: On each side of the street, horizontal divisions by means of plinths, floors and protruding eaves ; further horizontal structuring of the ground floor through strong boss imitation .
The sloping front side accentuates a box-shaped bay window on the first floor , which continues into the second floor in the form of a small balcony exit . The wider side front facing Bettrather Straße is determined by an even row of tall rectangular windows , the regularity of which is interrupted on the first and second floors by releasing the right window.
The front to Ferdinandstrasse, which is shorter with only three axes, is structured in the same way, but the individual window axes are wider.
