The Bevano is a 33 km long river in the region of Emilia-Romagna in Italy .
It rises at an altitude of 300 m on the slopes of Monte Maggio, near the municipality of Bertinoro , and flows in a north-east direction towards the Adriatic Sea . Its mouth is located in a nature reserve between the localities of Lido di Dante and Lido di Classe and is characterized by meanders and flooded areas. The beaches on the sides of the estuary are among the last untouched stretches of coast on the Adriatic.
