Beverly Bowes Hackney (* 9. September 1965 as Beverly Bowes ) is a former American tennis player .

Career

Between 1983 and 1993 she took part in Grand Slam tournaments. Her best individual performance was reaching the third round at the 1986 US Open and 1987 Australian Open . On the WTA Tour she reached a final in singles and doubles, which she lost both.

Personal

She is married to Holt Hackney and has two children. In 2000 she received a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Texas .
