Beverly Tyler

Beverly Tyler (born July 5, 1927 in Scranton , Pennsylvania as Beverly Jean Saul , † November 23, 2005 in Reno , Nevada ) was an American singer and actress who worked in various film and television productions between 1943 and 1961.

Life

As a child, Beverly Tyler took singing and piano lessons . From a young teenager -Jahren she had her singing debut in radio . A short time later, she moved to Hollywood with her mother and made her film debut in the 1943 comedy The Youngest Profession . It was the only film in which she still appeared under her real name. She took part in six films by 1947 and did not get a film role again until 1950. Her last role in a feature film was in the 1958 thriller Hong Kong Confidential . Between 1956 and 1961 she also appeared in various television seriesWith; including in the episode When Mr. Twilight died (original title: Vengeance ) of the western series Bonanza . Her last appearance in front of the camera was in an episode of the television series Hazel .

In connection with her marriage to Jim Jordan Jr. on May 6, 1962, she ended her career as a film actress and later appeared only occasionally on the stage in her adopted city of Reno, Nevada. Tyler died on November 23, 2005 at the age of 78 of complications from a pulmonary embolism .
