Bevis Reid
Bevis Reid ( Bevis Maria Anael Reid, married Shergold; born June 13, 1919 , † July 1997 in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames ) was a British shot putter and discus thrower .
In 1938 she was fifth in the shot put and eighth in the discus throw at the European Athletics Championships in Vienna .
At the 1948 Olympic Games in London, she came eighth in the shot put and 14th in the discus throw .
