Beyond the Void was a German Dark rock - band .

history

The band was founded in Munich in New Year 2000 by musicians who were previously active in various other bands. After a mini-CD in 2002, the debut album was released on Transformer Records in 2004 and the successor on Chris Pohl's label Fear Section in 2006 . In February 2008 the maxi CD Seductora and the third album Gloom Is a Trip for Two were released on Endzeit Elegies. In addition, the band toured twice with L'Âme Immortelle in 2008 .

style

The official style name is "Modern Goth Rock", a mixture which is also known as Dark Rock and which makes use of the genres Gothic Rock , Gothic Metal and contemporary rock music .

  • The band received the Breakthrough Artist 2006 award from Mexican magazine Chimera.
  • It was selected by a jury for the finals of the Schandmaul Contest 2006 and the semifinals of the Stars In The City Contest 2007.
  • In 2007 they toured the online world of Second Life as the first German band .
  • Daniel Pharos is also the singer of the funeral doom band Worship .
  • In 2005 they performed with the then very young band A Life Divided .
