The film stages three lovers and married couples in crisis who try to solve their problems through therapy. While the couples are freely improvised by actors, the therapists they meet are “real” therapists who meet their clients as they do every day in their therapeutic work. The setting for these therapy discussions is clearly artificial, but the couples' problems are drawn from real life.
