The Hospital for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic Medicine , or Lohr District Hospital for short , is a specialist psychiatric clinic in Lohr am Main . The district of Lower Franconia is responsible for the hospital .

history

The house was built in the pavilion style at the beginning of the 20th century.

" Euthanasia " was carried out in Lohr during the Third Reich . The doctor Raoul Posamentier published the results of his evaluation of the documents in 1999.

The first head of the district hospital after the war from 1945 to 1956 was Kilian Hofmann.

A psychiatric facility with a crisis intervention station, two day clinics and an institute outpatient clinic has been in operation in the social center on Lake Rosensee in Aschaffenburg since 1996.

In December 2013 there was a criminal case; a patient had been killed.

The house has 291 beds. Every year more than 10,000 patients with mental problems or addictions are treated as inpatients and part-time inpatients.

Catchment area is the western Lower Franconia with Würzburg , the district of Würzburg , Aschaffenburg , Aschaffenburg , the district of Main-Spessart and Miltenberg .
