District rabbinate Neckarbischofsheim

The Neckarbischofsheim district rabbinate , based in Neckarbischofsheim , a town in the Rhein-Neckar district in Baden-Württemberg , was established in the middle of the 18th century and existed until 1824. The new district rabbinate in Baden was established by ordinance of May 4, 1827 and divided the Jewish communities in district associations, which were also rabbinical districts .

After 1824 Neckarbischofsheim belonged to the district rabbinate Sinsheim . The last rabbis in Neckarbischofsheim were Moses Bamberger (until 1820) and after his death his son Jakob Bamberger (until 1824).
