Heinrich Kypke

Georg Heinrich Kypke (born April 3, 1838 in Rossow , Saatzig district , † October 22, 1908 in Halle ad Saale ) was a Protestant clergyman in Pomerania .

Life

family

Heinrich was born as the third son of the pastor in Rossow Carl Heinrich Kypke (1800-1884) and Johanna Emilie Laura Dörry (1815-1884). He had twelve siblings. In 1864 he married Clara Wilhelmine Henriette Lenz (* 1842, † after 1908). The marriage had ten children.

Career

From 1852 to 1857 Kypke attended the Marienstiftsgymnasium in Stettin . He then studied theology in Berlin until 1860 . He then worked as a private tutor until 1864, first with the von Bülow in Hoffelde, then with the von Dewitz on gasoline . As a pastor he worked from 1864 to 1871 in Basenthin , from 1871 to 1879 in Naseband and from 1880 to 1894 in Büche . In 1894, on the occasion of his retirement, he was awarded the Red Eagle Order IV class. Kypke then became the head of the Christian lodging house Pensionat zum Hochstein in Schreiberhau and spent his twilight years as an emeritus in Halle ad Saale.
