Bhadohi ( Hindi : भदोही , Urdu : بھدوہی; Bhadohī , [ bʱʌˈdoːhi ]) is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
Bhadohi is located in the east of the state about 45 kilometers west of Varanasi and 75 kilometers east of Prayagraj . The river Ganges flows past about 18 kilometers south of Bhadohi. Bhadohi is the largest city in the Sant Ravidas Nagar district, but the administrative seat of the district is Gyanpur . At the time of the 2011 census, the city had 94,620 inhabitants.
Bhadohi is a center for carpet production and is connected to the railway network via a train station.
