Bianca Halstead
Bianca Halstead , also Bianca Butthole , (born May 5, 1965 in Bronx , † December 15, 2001 in New Orleans ) was an American punk musician .
Life
Bianca Halstead founded the band Butt Trumpet with her friend Sharon Needles and Thom Bone , Jerry Geronimo and Blare N'Bitch . Their first album, Primitive Klistier , was released in 1994. It has been sold 60,000 times. Shortly afterwards, the band split up .
Sharon went to a band called Bob , and Bianca became their bassist on a tour of Humble Gods (now Kottonmouth Kings ) . But she wasn't really happy. In 1999 Bianca and Sharon got back together. Sharon brought Judy Molish with her, and Blare rejoined them. They founded the band Betty Blowtorch . In 1999 they released an EP called Get Off . A little later they were named best punk / hardcore band at the LA weekly music award 2000 . On June 5th, 2001 they released the CD Are you man enough? out. In early November 2001, Sharon and Judy left the band. Bianca and Blare did not give up and brought Jeniffer Finch on as a rhythm guitarist.
On December 15, 2001, Bianca Halstead was killed in a car accident.
