The two-story , five-axis brick building was erected in 1879.

The facade is in the neo-renaissance style. The architectural structural elements are set against the yellow brick of the facade by their red brick. The round arched windows are covered by segmented or round arches. The putti in the five spandrels of the upper floor bear the symbols of Freemasonry : trowel, square measure, compass, square scales and pointed hammer.
