The Bierenberg is a 474 meter high ridge in the Palatinate Forest southeast of Iggelbach , a district of Elmstein . The Iggelbach flows north of the mountain , and the Helmbach flows south . The mountain lies completely within the district of Elmstein. On the ridge of the Bierenberg there is a memorial stone for Alwin Burgdörfer, a young forest worker who had a fatal accident there.
