The Bietigheimer Zeitung is a daily newspaper based in Bietigheim-Bissingen , which appears in three editions in Bietigheim, Bönnigheim and Sachsenheim in the Ludwigsburg district . It belongs to the editorial network of the Südwest Presse in Ulm and to the advertising community Stuttgart, which also includes the Stuttgarter Zeitung , Der Teckbote and the Nürtinger Zeitung . In 2006 the Neue Pressegesellschaft mbH & Co KG, the publishing house of the Südwest Presse , acquired a minority stake in the Bietigheimer Zeitung . The Stuttgarter Zeitung Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, which is part of the Südwestdeutsche Medien Holding , will take over this share on January 1, 2019 .
The sold circulation is 9505 copies, a decrease of 34.2 percent since 1998.
