Big Gipp

Big Gipp (born April 28, 1973 in Atlanta , Georgia ; real name Cameron Gipp ) is an American rapper. He was at the beginning of the 1990 founding member of the hip-hop group Goodie Mob , which he largely the style of Dirty South was influenced and even eponymous for this genre.

Life

Big Gipp used a creative break in the band to release a solo album Mutant Mindframe . The debut single Steppin 'Out , which was created in collaboration with R&B singer Sleepy Brown , found considerable popularity.

Most recently, he worked with Nelly , who brought him to his Derrty Entertainment label , on his album Suit & Sweat . A joint album with the rapper Ali was released in 2007.

Big Gipp was married to R&B singer Joi from 1995 to 2003.
