Ali (* 1972 ; actually Ali Jones ) is an American rapper from St. Louis .

Career

Together with Nelly , Murphy Lee , Kyjuan , City Spud and Slo'Down , he co-founded the rap formation St. Lunatics in 1993 . Ali can often be heard as a guest musician on Nelly's solo album.

In 2002 Ali released his solo debut under the title Heavy Startch .

In 2007 he brought out the album with the band name Kinfolk with Goodie Mob member Big Gipp.

Ali is on Nelly's Derrty ENT label , a sub-label of Universal.
