Bill Malley
William "Bill" Malley (born before 1967) is a production designer and art director .
Life
Malley began his career on the film staff in 1967 as a television art director. His first feature film as a production designer was William Friedkin's horror film The Exorcist , for which he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Production Design in 1974 together with Jerry Wunderlich . This year, however, the award went to the classic film The Clou .
In the 1980s in particular, Malley worked on a number of Hollywood productions , including My Dear Raven Mother , A Judge Sees Red, and Protocol - Everything Dances To My Whistle . He was also active in television, and worked on numerous television films and the series Sliders - The Gate into a Foreign Dimension , Pensacola - wings made of steel and Seven Days - The Gate at the Time . He was nominated for the CableACE Award in 1995 for his work on the television film Amelia Earhart - The Last Flight .
