Bill Miles

Bill Miles (born September 16, 1932 in Cardiff , Wales , Great Britain , † September 4, 2006 in Vancouver , Canada ) was a British actor , screenwriter and film producer .

Miles began his acting career in 1954. In the 1963 short film The Six-Sided Triangle , which was nominated for an Oscar , he played the husband of an unfaithful woman. The best-known films in which he participated were, among others, Chautauqua Girl (1983), The Gunfighters (1987) and Last Train Home (1990). He also had appearances in several series, such as Doctor Who (1965), Mysterious Ways (2001) and Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital (2004). 2006 was Connors' War in its last production.

He died of cancer on September 4, 2006.
