Bill human

William David Mensch, Jr. (born February 9, 1945 in Quakertown , Bucks County , Pennsylvania) is an American computer engineer and founder, managing director and CEO of the Western Design Center (WDC) in Mesa , Arizona . Before he founded the company in 1978, he worked as a manager in various positions at Philco-Ford , Motorola and MOS Technology .

Mensch played a key role in the development of the Motorola 6800 and MOS Technology 6502 microprocessors and later expanded the architecture of these processors with his company Western Design Center. The company produces the hobby computer " Mensch Computer ", which is based on the Western Design Center 65816 microprocessor.
