The Billingane (also known as Maruff Peaks ) are a group of four mountains in Kempland, East Antarctica . They rise 8 km east-southeast of the lake Nunatak at the eastern end of the Hansenfjella .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped the mountain range using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . The namesake of the name made by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) is Rodney Nelson Maruff, field research assistant in the 1965 campaign as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions .
