The lake nunatak is a nunatak in the East Antarctic Kempland . It is the northernmost of a group that forms the eastern part of the Hansenfjella .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken by the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE, 1929–1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named him on July 29, 1965 after R. See, helicopter mechanic in the 1965 campaign as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions .
