Architecture and history
The villa was built in 1897 by the Brunswick architect Friedrich Staeding for the Quedlinburg entrepreneur Leopold Arndt and is considered one of the most important villa buildings in Quedlinburg. The master mason Robert von der Foehr carried out the construction. Architecturally, the building is in the neo-renaissance style with a castle-like appearance. At a later time, some additions were added which impaired the overall impression.
