Billy Denis (born November 18, 1998 in Antwerp ) is a Belgian ice hockey player who has been a member of the Lindenwood University team in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics since 2017 .

Career

Billy Denis began his career as a hockey player in Sweden, the Grästorps IK , where he went through the youth level and in the season 2015/16 in the third-rate Hockeyettan was used. He then moved to North America, where he first played at the South Muskoka Shield from the Canadian Greater Metro Hockey League. In 2017 he began studying at Lindenwood University and has since played for their student team in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics .

International

For Belgium, Denis took part in the U18 World Championships in 2015 and 2016 as well as the U20 World Championships in 2016 in Division II.

For the men's national team , Denis played for the first time at the World Cup of Division II in 2018 .
