Binscheid
Binscheid is a district of the local community Üttfeld in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate . The place is located in the south of the municipality above the Mannerbach between 445 and 485 m above sea level. NHN .
history
The remains of a Roman building with a bathing facility were found in the Alburg corridor .
Until 1794 Binscheid belonged to the Dasburg dominion , which was part of the Duchy of Luxembourg . In 1816 Binscheid came to the newly formed district of Prüm in the Prussian administrative district of Trier and belonged to the mayor's office of Eschfeld .
In 1971 the formerly independent community of Binscheid zu Üttfeld was incorporated. Binscheid includes the residential areas Angertsseifen, Flachsberg, In der Dell, Kockelberg, Roder, Steinkaul, Suckt and Vennhof.
