Birgit Lohberg-Schulz

Birgit Lohberg-Schulz (born December 3, 1965 in Moers ) is a German swimmer and Olympic participant. The 1.76 m tall and 63 kg heavy athlete started for the Hamburg swimming community .

She was able to place herself at German championships several times:

  • 1987: Champion over 200 m freestyle and over 400 m medley, runner-up over 200 m medley
  • 1988: Champion over 200 and 400 m medley
  • 1989: 3rd place over 50 and 100 m freestyle, runner-up over 200 m medley

At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 she started the 200 m freestyle, 200 m medley and 400 m medley and was able to qualify for the B final on all three courses. Your results:

  • 200 m freestyle: 7th place in 2: 02.32 minutes (overall ranking 17th among 44 participants)
