Biruta Pavlovna Kanzane

Biruta Pawlowna Kanzane ( Russian Бирута Павловна Канцане ; born May 17, 1939 in Riga ) is a Soviet - Russian architect .

Life

Kanzane studied at the Polytechnic Institute Riga in the Architecture Department with completion in 1967. She then worked as an architect in Magadan and in 1977 chief architect of Naberezhnye Chelny .

1979 Kanzane was under construction designing institute Lipezkgraschdanprojekt the city of Lipetsk hired and led a group of architects. She designed residential microrajons in the southwest of the city. In 1982 she became chief architect of Lipetsk as successor to WA Prilipko. During this time, an extensive housing project was carried out in Lipetsk (6th housing rajon with microrajons 20-23). According to Kanzane's project, five 14-story residential buildings with outbuildings were built along a new boulevard (with the architect TK Sokolow). In 1987, after their project in the Lipetsk Verkhny Park, the sculpture group Die Internationale , the boys from the music command of the sculptor Alexander Evgenjewitsch Wagner, was created . In the same year this project received the diploma of the Academy of Arts of the USSR . The projects to build a polyclinic (1980-1984 with Margarita Mironovna Trofimova) and the Trilistniks with a marriage palace (1985 with Gennady Mikhailovich Alexandrov, EJ Serewa and Vladimir Dmitriyevich Tyagunov) were ascribed to her, which the chief engineer of these buildings denied.

Kanzane remained chief architect of the city of Lipetsk until 1994. Then she was a consultant at the Academy of Architecture and Construction. In 2004 she became chief architect of Lipetsk Oblast (until 2009).
