The Bischofswieser Ache , also known as the Bischofswiesener Ache , is about eight kilometers long flowing water in the southern district of Berchtesgadener Land .

It arises a little before the Bischofswiesen district of Winkl through the confluence of the more important right Frechenbach , which a little before included the Weißbach , and the last section of the Mausbach of its left upper course and flows through the municipality of Bischofswiesen from northwest to southeast and the Tristram Gorge has, at Gmundberg in the Ramsauer Ache . For long stretches it is accompanied by the Freilassing – Berchtesgaden railway line to the mouth .
