St. Peter and Paul Church in

The Church of St. Peter and Paul ( Rum. Biserica Sf. Petru și Pavel , also known as Biserica dintre Brazi , ie "the church between the firs") is the oldest structure of the Romanian Greek Catholic Church in Sibiu , built between 1778 and 1788.

It is located at Strada Reconstrucției 17 , on the other side of the Zibin from the city center.

The overall impression of the church is baroque , dominated by the massive onion dome . The facade has other typical elements of the Baroque, such as massive columns, pilasters and the motif of the shell.

In the small cemetery by the church you can find the graves of some personalities of Romanian culture in Transylvania : George Bariț , Ioan Rațiu , Alexandru Vaida-Voevod and others. a.
