He came to Prussia through the resolutions of the Congress of Vienna and in 1816 was assigned to the Delitzsch district in the Merseburg administrative district of the province of Saxony , to which he belonged until 1952.

religion
The church was built in the 13th century. The rectory next to the church and cemetery dates from the 17th century. The parish of Liemehna is today part of the Protestant parish Krostitz - Weltewitz in the Evangelical Church in Central Germany . The Liemehna Brotherhood has been located in the Liemehna rectory since 1972. It was founded by theology students under Christoph Michael Haufe and today is an important parish brotherhood within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony . While most of the members of the brotherhood / community work together with their families mainly in parishes, the parsonage as the " Martin Rinckart House" still offers (especially theology) students the opportunity to practice a shared spiritual life for a while .
