The Bismarck rock is a striking mountain range between Windhoek and Rehoboth in Namibia .

The Bismarck rock reaches a height of 2,417  m and is both one of the highest mountains in Namibia and a striking feature of the landscape on the B1 national road .

The mountain is still referred to by its German name, which it received when Namibia was still one of the German colonies in Africa as German South West Africa. Its name refers to the former Chancellor Otto von Bismarck , like many viewpoints in Germany (see Bismarck Towers ) .
