history

Former spa hotel

The former spa hotel was built in 1909 by the Bad Kissingen architect Carl Krampf in the Art Nouveau style using the previous building from around 1870 . The building is a three-storey hipped mansard roof with a curved central gable . It belongs to several Bad Kissingen buildings such as Kurhausstraße 11a , Menzelstraße 19 and Theresienstraße 12 , which were converted from an original Neo-Renaissance building into an Art Nouveau building.

The property has a rear wing, which was built in 1886 under the architect Joseph Gleißner . The property also includes a pillar and cast iron enclosure that was probably built around 1900 .

Garden shed

The garden house belonging to the former spa hotel was also built by Carl Krampf in the Art Nouveau style around 1910. The building is a single-storey iron-glass construction with a central projection . In contrast to the former spa hotel building, the garden house is original Art Nouveau.
