The Diocese of Apt ( lat. : Dioecesis Aptensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Apt .

The diocese of Apt was established in the 3rd century. The first bishop was Auspice .

On November 29, 1801, the Diocese of Apt was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the Papal Bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the Archdiocese of Avignon and the Diocese of Digne .

The diocese of Apt was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Aix as a suffragan . It comprised 32 parishes .

On February 9, 2009, the diocese of Apt was re-established as the titular diocese of Apt .
