In 2005 Figge left formula racing to take part in long-distance races. He continued to compete for Pacific Coast Motorsport, where his father, Tom Figge, was a co-owner. He made his debut in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), in which he was ninth in the GTS classification, and in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series . 2006 Figge was only active in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series and was 16th in the DP standings with a podium finish.

In 2007 Figge returned to formula racing and competed for Pacific Coast Motorsports in the Champ Car World Series . In his first race he achieved the only top 10 finish with an eighth place, while his team-mate Ryan Dalziel came under the top ten drivers six times. At the end of the season, Figge finished 17th in the drivers' championship. In 2008 Figge should complete another champ car season. However, the series merged with the IndyCar Series before the start of the season . Figge only entered one race in which the former Champ Car teams started.
