The Diocese of Bazas ( lat. : Dioecesis Vasatensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Bazas .

The Bazas diocese was established between the 1st and 3rd centuries. It was divided into three archdeaconates .

On November 29, 1801, the diocese of Bazas was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the papal bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the dioceses of Agen and Aire and the archbishopric of Bordeaux .
