The Beihai Diocese ( Latin : Dioecesis Pehaevensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Beihai in the People's Republic of China .

history

Pope Benedict XV founded the Apostolic Vicariate Westkwangtung and Hainan on August 1, 1920 from cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Guangzhou . On December 3, 1924, it took the name, Vicariate Apostolic Pakhoi.

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised to the diocese on April 11, 1946.
