The diocese Clamecy ( lat. : Dioecesis Clameciensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Clamecy .
history
The diocese of Clamecy was established in 1223. The diocese of Clamecy was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Sens as a suffragan . The Notre-Dame-de-Bethléem cathedral was in Clamecy.
On November 29, 1801, the Diocese of Clamecy was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the Papal Bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the Diocese of Autun .
