The Bistum Kondoa ( lat. : Dioecesis Kondoaënsis ) is an in Tanzania preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Kondoa .

history

The diocese of Kondoa was on March 12, 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Cum ad provehendam from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Dodoma and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam as a suffragan . The first bishop was Bernardin Mfumbusa .

On November 6, 2014, the Kondoa diocese was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Dodoma as a suffragan.
