Diocese of Lisieux
The Diocese of Lisieux ( lat. : Dioecesis Lexoviensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Lisieux .
history
The Lisieux diocese was established in the 6th century. First Bishop was Theudobaudis . The diocese of Lisieux was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Rouen as a suffragan .
On November 29, 1801, the diocese of Lisieux was dissolved as a result of the Concordate of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the papal bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the dioceses of Bayeux , Évreux and Sées .
