Diocese of Lombez
The Diocese of Lombez ( lat. : Dioecesis Lomberiensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Lombez .
history
The diocese of Lombez was on July 13, 1317 by Pope John XXII. Erected with the Papal Bull Salvator noster from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Toulouse . The first bishop was Arnaud-Roger de Comminges . The diocese of Lombez was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Toulouse as a suffragan .
On November 29, 1801, the diocese of Lombez was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the papal bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the diocese of Bayonne .
