The Diocese of Nancheng ( Latin : Dioecesis Nancemensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Nancheng in the People's Republic of China .

history

Pope Pius XI founded with the Breve Ecclesiae universae the Apostolic Prefecture Nancheng on November 29, 1932 from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Yujiang . On February 13, 1940, she was raised to the rank of Vicariate Apostolic .

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised to the diocese on April 11, 1946.
