Björn Arne Nittmo (born June 26, 1966 in Lomma , Sweden ) is a former Swedish American football player. He played in the position of the kicker .
Football career
Nittmo played college football at Appalachian State University . After college, he played in the 1989 season for the New York Giants in the NFL , but could not prevail and was only used in six games. He then played for various teams in various professional leagues, including the Montreal Machine in the WLAF and Stockholm Nordic Vikings in the FLE . He also played for five different teams in the AFL and in 1995 in the CFL . He also played games for the Swedish national team.
Film & television
Nittmo made several appearances on Late Night with David Letterman during his time with the Giants . He can be seen as a kicker in the film Any Given Sunday .
