Bjørn Klakegg (born January 30, 1958 in Skien ) is a Norwegian jazz guitarist.

Rune Klakegg's brother played in various amateur groups as a high school student. With the Skien Pedalkvintett he appeared in Denmark, and from 1977 to 1978 he was a member of the Hanna Winsnes Band , later Guttorm Guttormsen hired him for the Telemark Theater .

Then he went to Trondheim, where he studied jazz at the Trøndelag Conservatory of Music . Here he directed his first own formations (a quintet and a sextet) between 1981 and 1983. a. Nils Petter Molvær , Tore Brunborg , Ernst Viggo Sandbakk , Jan Magne Førde and Vigleik Storaas were members.

In the 1980s Klakegg worked with a number of bands in Oslo such as Sun , AHA / Extended Nose , Out to Lunch and Nuku . In 1999 the duo album Gloria was released with percussionist Harald Skullerud ; in the same year he recorded the album 4G with Frode Alnæs , Knut Værnes and Knut Reiersrud .

In 2004 he worked on Terje Gewelt's album Small world , in the following year he released the album A Day With No Plans At All as band leader . More recently he has also worked with the singer Hanne Hukkelberg .
