Bjørn Tore Berntsen lives in Dokka . Between 1991 and 1997 he won seven medals with the representatives of the Troms region , including five titles in the relay and team races at Norwegian championships. He won his first title with Tor Espen Kristiansen and Stig-Are Eriksen in the team race in Steinkjer in 1991 . The following year he surprisingly repeated the title win in Skrautvål with Troms' second team, Arnt Ove Johansen and Stig-Are Eriksen.
