The wind soloists of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen met in early 1990. The ensemble is a wind octet, which is reinforced by a flute and a double bass if necessary . The musicians, first prize winners at numerous high-ranking international competitions, devote themselves to the repertoire of wind chamber music from the baroque to contemporary compositions in addition to their orchestral work at the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen .

Engagements

The ensemble has made guest appearances at the Alte Oper Frankfurt , the Herkulessaal in Munich, the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London , the Berlin Philharmonie , at the Mozart Festival in Prague, where they were awarded the Mozart Medal of the City of Prague, the International Lucerne Music Festival and the Rheingau Music Festival .

The ensemble toured Japan with the Japanese Kyogen Ensemble in 2002 with the harmony music of Mozart's Don Giovanni . In March 2006 both ensembles resumed their successful collaboration and toured the major cities of Japan with The Marriage of Figaro .
