Blåskimkilen ( Norwegian ) is a strait on the west side of the island of Blåskimen off the Princess Martha coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 13 km north of the island of Nydomen at the interface between the Fimbul and Jelbart ice shelves .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1962 based on the name of the neighboring island.
